Terms of use

These terms of use govern the SileneMC network: the Minecraft server, the website (https://silenemc.eu, clan., store., recrute.) and the Discord server. By registering or logging in you accept them. Version of October 1, 2026.

1. The service

SileneMC is a free community Minecraft server open to everyone (Java and Bedrock): mini-games (Bedwars, HikaBrain, Murder, hide and seek…), clans, rankings, an associated Discord, and an optional crystal shop (see the terms of sale). 2. Access and registration

  • The game is free. The account is created in game with /register (username and password) or by linking a premium Minecraft account. The site logs in with Discord, once your account is linked.
  • The Discord server is for people aged 13 or over; purchases, for those aged 16 or over. A child under 15 plays with their parents' permission.
  • You give accurate information and protect your password: everything done with your account is deemed done by you. An account is personal: no sharing, no resale.
  • One account per person is recommended; multiple accounts used to evade a sanction are forbidden.

3. Rules of use

The server rules (the règlement channel on Discord) are part of these terms. In particular, the following are forbidden:

  • cheating, software or modifications that give an advantage, deliberately exploiting a bug (report it with /bug);
  • harassment, insults, hate, discriminatory speech, threats, sexual, violent or illegal content, impersonation;
  • advertising, spam, malicious links, collecting data on other players;
  • attacking the service (denial of service, unauthorised access attempts);
  • evading a sanction (another account, a VPN to come back after a ban).

4. Sanctions

In case of a breach, staff may warn, mute, kick or ban (temporarily or permanently), remove an advantage obtained unfairly or hide content. The sanction is proportionate and reasoned; you can contest it by ticket on Discord. Some competitive-mode sanctions (warnings, competitive bans) are public, without the moderator's name: they are described in the privacy policy, along with your right to object.

5. Crystals and shop

Crystals are a virtual currency with no monetary value, governed by the terms of sale. No combat advantage can be bought. Ranks, subscriptions and cosmetics are tied to your account.

6. Content you publish

Your username, your clan's name and description, and your messages are your responsibility: they must not break the law or the rules. You allow us to display them within the service (game, site, Discord) while the account exists. You can ask for removal of content about you; to report illegal content, see the legal notice.

7. Intellectual property

SileneMC's elements (texts, logos, maps, plugins) remain their authors'. Do not copy them without permission. Minecraft belongs to Mojang AB; SileneMC is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.

8. Ending an account

  • By you: you can ask for your account to be deleted at any time (see the privacy policy, §7). Your statistics, profile and Discord link are then erased; unused crystals and perks are lost, unless the law entitles you to a refund.
  • By us: in case of a serious or repeated breach, or inactivity of more than 3 years, we may close the account. We give reasons and, except in urgent or serious cases, warn you first.

9. Availability

The service is provided "as is". It may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or incidents, and we do not guarantee continuous availability. We do our best to warn in advance (Discord) and fix quickly. A game in progress may be cancelled in case of an outage.

10. Liability

We are liable for our faults within the limits of the law. We are not responsible for third-party services (Discord, Minecraft, your internet access), for indirect damage, or for loss of game items due to an external cause; nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

11. Changes to the terms

We may change these terms. The version date is at the top of the text; for an important change we announce it on Discord and ask for your agreement again at your next login to the site. Continuing to play after a minor change means acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. For a dispute, first try a ticket on Discord. Failing agreement, the French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumers' right to bring the matter before the court of their place of residence.
