Terms of sale

Courtesy translation. The French version is the legally binding one.

These terms of sale apply to the purchase of crystals in the SileneMC shop (https://store.silenemc.eu). They complement the terms of use and the terms of sale of our payment provider PayNow Services, Inc. Version of October 1, 2026.

1. Who sells, who delivers

• Shop and in-game delivery: [TO BE COMPLETED : publisher name], [TO BE COMPLETED : address]. Contact: [TO BE COMPLETED : email address].
• Sale and payment: PayNow Services, Inc. (a US company), acting as the seller (merchant of record): by paying, you enter into the sales contract with PayNow Services, Inc. under its terms. PayNow handles payment, VAT, chargebacks and payment support; SileneMC delivers the crystals to your game account and provides game support.

2. Products

Crystals are a virtual currency usable only on the SileneMC network, to buy lifetime ranks, the Pilier subscription, a custom rank, colours and other comfort or cosmetic perks. They never give a combat advantage. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or refunded as money, and can only be passed on through in-game functions (gifts).

Operation and compatibility: you need a SileneMC player account, a compatible Minecraft client (Java 1.8 or later, or Bedrock) and an internet connection. Crystals are credited to the player account you are logged in with on the site via Discord or, without logging in, to the game account whose username you enter (it must exist: you have already joined the game once).

3. Prices

Prices are in euros, including all taxes (VAT included depending on your country, calculated by PayNow). The price payable is the one shown when you order, excluding any fees charged by your bank. There are no delivery fees.

4. Ordering

1. Log in with Discord (crystals go to the player linked to your account) or, without an account on the site, enter the username of a game account: crystals go to that account.
2. Choose a pack and, if you have one, enter a creator code, promo code or gift card: PayNow checks it before you pay.
3. Tick both boxes: you are at least 16 (PayNow's rule); you request immediate delivery and give up your right of withdrawal (article 6).
4. Click "Pay": you go to PayNow's payment page, where you check the order before paying. The contract is concluded when you pay.

The boxes are never ticked in advance. Without them, no order is created.

5. Payment and delivery

Payment is online, by the means PayNow offers at checkout. SileneMC never sees or keeps your card data. Crystals are credited immediately (usually within seconds) once PayNow confirms payment; you are notified in game. If nothing arrives after a few minutes, write to us with your receipt: we find the payment and credit the account at no cost.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase (article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code). This right does not apply to the supply of digital content not on a tangible medium whose performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that they lose the right of withdrawal (article L. 221-28, 13°). Crystals are such content: they are delivered as soon as you pay. By ticking the box provided before paying, you request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the crystals are delivered. The date of your agreement and the version of these terms are recorded.

If, for a particular purchase, a right of withdrawal were nevertheless to apply (for example, payment made but delivery not begun), you can exercise it by writing to [TO BE COMPLETED : email address] with the model form below or any unambiguous statement.

7. Legal guarantees

The seller is liable for lack of conformity of digital content (articles L. 224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and for hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), at no cost to you. If your crystals are not delivered or do not work as announced, contact us: we deliver them or restore the service; failing that, the law entitles you to a price reduction or a refund.

8. Sanctioned accounts

An account suspended or banned for breaking the rules is not entitled to a refund of crystals already delivered, except where the law requires one. An unjustified sanction can be contested by ticket on our Discord; if it is lifted, your crystals are returned.

9. Refunds, payment disputes

If a payment is refunded or charged back, the matching crystals are removed from the account (the balance does not go below zero); an account in a payment dispute may be suspended until it is settled.

10. Complaints

Write to [TO BE COMPLETED : email address], or open a ticket on Discord, stating your username and purchase date. For a payment problem you can also contact PayNow from your receipt. We reply as soon as possible.

11. Consumer mediation

After a written complaint to SileneMC left without a satisfactory answer, you may use, free of charge, the consumer mediator we come under: [MEDIATOR TO BE CHOSEN : name, postal address and website of the consumer mediator the publisher has joined].

12. Personal data

The data processed for your purchase, how long it is kept and your rights are described in the privacy policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction; consumers may always bring the matter before the court of their place of residence, and no clause removes the mandatory provisions of the country where they live.

14. Business customers

These terms are aimed at consumers. Services sold to businesses (e.g. services on quotation) are covered by a quotation, and failing that the following apply: payment within 30 days of the invoice date; late payment incurs penalties equal to three times the statutory interest rate and a fixed 40 € recovery fee (article L. 441-10 of the French Commercial Code); no right of withdrawal; digital content delivered remains the publisher's property until paid in full; any dispute falls under the commercial court of the publisher's registered office.
